Choose how you want to work
QueryWell is one signed desktop application with one update stream. Studio gives practitioners direct control of Oracle Fusion reporting; Studio + AI adds the licence-gated AI Workbench. Both are paid once and owned outright.
Single-seat prices exclude applicable taxes and can be paid securely online. A seat is for one named operator, on up to two devices. Every licence includes 12 months of updates; support and further updates after that are a fixed 20% a year, entirely optional. Team bundles start at five seats; enterprise, site, branding and scoped onboarding purchases are quoted.

Team and enterprise purchases remain quote-led. Estate-wide licensing, agreed support response times, onboarding, branding and deployment guidance are scoped directly. Studio or Studio + AI capability can be licensed across the estate. Request a team or enterprise quote →
AI provider costs are separate
QueryWell does not bundle model tokens or mark up usage. Studio + AI connects directly to the Anthropic, OpenAI, OpenRouter or compatible Ollama endpoint you configure. You pay that provider under your own account and terms.
One installer, licence-key upgrade
The AI Workbench ships dormant inside QueryWell and is only loaded when the licence includes the AI entitlement. Upgrading from Studio to Studio + AI is the £600 difference, at any time, with your Studio purchase credited in full — a new key, not another installation. Nobody is penalised for starting on Studio.
Named operator seats, two devices each
A seat is one named operator, identified by an assigned email, on up to two devices; a five-seat team is five named operator seats, not one shared key. The perpetual licence never expires — a device activation lease renews over the internet and then works offline for a 30-day offline period, so first activation and periodic renewal need a connection while day-to-day use does not. Today's builds don't require it yet: current QueryWell releases verify your key locally and run without contacting an activation service; the release notes will say so, with notice, before a build that needs device activation is offered as an update.
12 months of updates included
Every perpetual licence includes all releases published within 12 months of purchase. After that, the version you hold keeps working for as long as you like; new releases continue under the optional support plan. Nothing switches off when the year ends.
Optional annual support plan — a fixed 20%
£240 a year per Studio seat, £360 per Studio + AI seat: priority support, every new release and onboarding help. Take it from day one or add it later; cancel at any year end. The perpetual licence is unaffected either way.
14-day evaluation and purchase protection
The free evaluation unlocks Studio + AI. The built-in AI demo needs no provider key; live AI runs use your provider account. First purchases also carry a 14-day money-back guarantee.
What three years actually costs
Most Fusion SQL tools are sold by the year. Here is a perpetual seat next to their published entry-tier prices, over the three years a typical reporting setup stays in service.
| Option | Year 1 | Years 2–3 | Three-year total | Year 4 onwards |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| QueryWell Studio, licence only | £1,200 (updates included) | £0 | £1,200 | £0 — keep the version you hold |
| QueryWell Studio with support plan | £1,200 | £240 a year | £1,680 | £240 a year, cancel any year end |
| QueryWell Studio + AI with support plan | £1,800 | £360 a year | £2,520 | £360 a year, cancel any year end |
| SQLConnect, individual tier | US$450 | US$450 a year | US$1,350 | US$450 a year, for as long as you use it |
| CloudMiner | US$545 | US$545 a year | US$1,635 | US$545 a year, for as long as you use it |
| BI Connector Developer Edition | US$700 | US$700 a year | US$2,100 | US$700 a year, for as long as you use it |
Rival figures are entry-tier list prices published on each vendor's site on 5 September 2026, in US dollars, before tax; enterprise tiers, team discounts and support terms differ, so compare like for like before deciding. QueryWell's Data Loader, audit toolkits and hashed evidence are included in the seat price. If a plain SQL editor is all you need, a free driver may cost you nothing — see how the editors compare.
A full-schema Fusion mirror for less than one year of a pipeline subscription
The Data Loader in QueryWell Studio mirrors anything from one module to the full Fusion schema into your own Oracle Autonomous Database, on a schedule, with no row ceiling by default. Third-party Fusion pipeline tools sell the same outcome by the year or by the row. Here is QueryWell next to the ones that publish a price.
| Option | Year 1 | Years 2–3 | Three-year total | Year 4 onwards |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| QueryWell Studio, one seat with support plan | £1,200 | £240 a year | £1,680 | £240 a year, cancel any year end |
| QueryWell Studio, 5-seat team with support plan | £4,750 | £950 a year | £6,650 | £950 a year, cancel any year end |
| BI Connector Server Edition, Data Warehouse | from US$7,495 | from US$7,495 a year | from US$22,485 | from US$7,495 a year, for as long as you use it |
| CData Sync, Standard 5 connections, 100M rows a month | US$7,999 | US$7,999 a year | US$23,997 | US$7,999 a year, for as long as you use it |
| Fivetran, Oracle Fusion connector | Metered | Metered | Metered — no published Fusion rate | Billed on rows changed, for as long as you use it |
| Orbit DataJump, SplashBI Oracle Cloud Pipeline | Quote only | Quote only | Quote only | Quote only |
Rival figures are entry-tier list prices published on each vendor's site on 22 October 2026, in US dollars, before tax; module, connector and volume terms differ, so compare like for like before deciding. Fivetran bills each connection on monthly active rows — rows inserted, updated or deleted — and its Fusion connector re-reads objects without an incremental filter in full on every sync. The pipeline tools target warehouses such as Snowflake, Databricks and Fabric; the Data Loader targets Oracle Autonomous Database only. Every option needs a target database you pay for separately, and Oracle's Always Free Autonomous tier is enough to evaluate the Data Loader. Support is 20% of the licence price, so £950 a year for a five-seat team. BI Connector, CData Sync, Fivetran, Orbit DataJump and SplashBI are trademarks of their respective owners.
Test both tiers before you choose
Run Studio against your own Fusion pod, open the AI Workbench, inspect generated SQL and confirm the provider data path with your security team.
